Mānuka honey
Medical Grade 500+ MGO Manuka honey
Mānuka honey is made by bees that forage on the flowers of the native mānuka tree, found only in Aotearoa New Zealand.
MGO stands for methylglyoxal, the naturally occurring compound that makes Mānuka honey special. The number tells you how much is in the honey: the higher the number, the more potent the honey.
We use medical grade 500+ MGO Mānuka honey, a high-grade honey, because it is the heart of the balm and the reason Murray's exists.

Mānuka oil
Manuka oil
Mānuka oil is steam-distilled from the leaves and small branches of the same mānuka tree our bees visit.
It brings the fresh, distinctive scent of the bush to the formula and works alongside the honey to care for the skin.

Kawakawa
Kawakawa oil
Kawakawa (Piper excelsum) is a native shrub with heart-shaped leaves, found throughout the bush of Aotearoa.
It has a long place in rongoā Māori, traditional Māori healing, where its leaves have been used to care for the skin for generations. We include it as a nod to that knowledge and to the whenua it comes from.
